Legal
Privacy policy.
As of July 2026. This policy informs you, pursuant to the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), how we handle personal data. We deliberately do without tracking, analytics and cookies. This English text is a translation for convenience; in case of doubt the German version prevails.
1. Controller
Pushing Future UG (haftungsbeschränkt)Kastanienallee 75
10435 Berlin
Germany
info@pushing-future.com
2. Principle
We collect, store and process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide this website and our content. Data is only passed on to third parties insofar as this is expressly described in this policy (in particular to our hosting/mail provider and — when the AI features are used — to AI service providers, see section 10).
We use no cookies, run no tracking, use no analytics and no third-party scripts for analysis purposes.
3. Server access data
When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data (IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, user agent) is processed in server logs by our hosting provider. This data serves to ensure operation and to defend against attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Storage period: a maximum of 14 days, then automatic deletion.
4. Newsletter (double opt-in)
You can subscribe to our newsletter via the form on this website. After submitting you receive a confirmation email with a link. Your subscription only becomes effective once you click this link (double opt-in). As long as you have not confirmed, your entry is not used to send the newsletter and is deleted after 30 days without confirmation.
Data processed: email address, time of subscription, time of confirmation, the consent text valid at the time of subscription and its version identifier, an irreversible hash of your IP address (SHA-256 with a server salt) and your user agent. The raw IP address is not stored. The hash serves solely as proof of consent and for abuse prevention (spam protection, rate limit).
Purpose: sending editorial content and updates by email; proof of consent in line with the accountability principle.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR (consent) in conjunction with § 7 (2) no. 3 UWG.
Storage period: until consent is withdrawn. If you unsubscribe, we mark your entry as “unsubscribed” and no longer send emails. For complete deletion of the entry, an informal email to info@pushing-future.com is enough.
Recipients / processing: The data is stored exclusively on our own web hosting in the EU (local SQLite database). Confirmation and newsletter emails are sent via the mail server of our hosting provider. There is no transfer to third parties (Mailchimp, Brevo, etc.); there is no transfer to third countries.
Unsubscribe: Every newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link. Alternatively, informally by email to info@pushing-future.com.
5. Contact requests
If you send us a message via the contact form or by email, we process the transmitted data exclusively to handle your request and for any follow-up communication.
Data processed: name, email address, subject where applicable, message text, time of submission, an irreversible hash of your IP address, your user agent. The raw IP address is not stored.
Optional newsletter subscription: In the contact form you can additionally indicate that you want to subscribe to the newsletter. In that case you receive a separate confirmation email (double opt-in, see section 4). Without this confirmation click, your address is not added to the newsletter distribution list.
Purpose: handling and answering your request.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract, where relevant) or Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering the request).
Storage period: We delete contact requests as soon as they have been conclusively handled, at the latest after 24 months, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Storage location: local SQLite database on our own web hosting in the EU. No transfer to third parties, no transfer to third countries.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access to processed data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Withdrawal of consent given (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
- Complaint to a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)
To exercise these rights, an informal email to info@pushing-future.com is enough.
7. Supervisory authority
Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Friedrichstr. 219, 10969 Berlin. datenschutz-berlin.de
8. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy if our processing activities change. The respective current version can always be found on this page.
9. Usage rights to submitted content
If you transmit or upload content to us — such as ideas, projects, texts, images, videos or other files (for example via the Get involved, Submit a project, Investors or Contact page, the COR Network or by email) — you grant Pushing Future UG (haftungsbeschränkt) a simple (non-exclusive), unlimited (in time and territory), free and transferable right to publish, reproduce, edit, combine, translate and use this content in whole or in part in all media (website, newsletter, social media, print and other channels) for the purposes of the pushing future project.
You confirm that you are the author of the content or hold all necessary rights, and that the content does not infringe any third-party rights (in particular copyright, trademark, personality or data protection rights). There is no obligation to publish or use it. No remuneration is paid. You can object to further use in the future at any time, informally, to info@pushing-future.com; publications that have already taken place remain unaffected.
10. Artificial intelligence (COR)
On this website we use an artificial intelligence (“COR”), among other things in the COR Network. COR supports the development of projects and creates or processes content.
No warranty — AI can make mistakes: Output generated or prepared by COR can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or misleading. It does not constitute legal, tax, financial, medical or other professional advice. Do not rely on AI output alone and check important information independently before acting on it. Liability for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of AI-generated content is — as far as legally permissible — excluded.
Transfer of your inputs to AI providers: When you interact with COR or submit content that is processed by AI (e.g. texts, ideas, project descriptions, messages), these inputs are transmitted to the AI service providers we use and processed there to deliver the function. This may involve a transfer to countries outside the EU/EEA (in particular to the USA), for which an adequate level of data protection under EU law may not exist; where necessary, we base such transfers on appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
Please do not enter sensitive data: Do not enter any special categories of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR, e.g. health, religion or trade-union data) or any confidential information that should not reach third parties when using COR.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR (consent through active use) and (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating and improving the offering). We will tell you the specific AI providers used on request to info@pushing-future.com.
